Project Development Associate

Role Description:

 

As a Project Development Associate, you will provide support to the development team managing projects. You will help track and manage project costs, collect and code construction invoices, and input invoices into Project Management Software.

​

Primary Responsibilities:

​

  • Manage project tracking via SDEV Master Spreadsheet and Whiteboard

  • Input invoices into cost-tracking management software (Ingenious and Dropbox) and keep project information current. 

  • Collect and code project invoices for input into Ingenious and Dropbox.

  • Prepare permits and applications.

  • Receive, organize, distribute, and file all documents for new and ongoing projects.

  • Update database files and pipeline of community opportunities.

  • Assist with vendor approval and setup for payment – insurance, tax info, etc.

  • Track, review and code invoices, and submit for approval and payment.

  • Handle special projects and other administrative duties as assigned. 

 

Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills, highly focused task completion, follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills. 

  • Positive outlook, desire to support and interact with others daily in an exciting, challenging, and ever-changing work environment.

  •  Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude; great team-player and ability to accept feedback. 

  • Must be detail-oriented and a problem solver and able to achieve objectives with minimal supervision.

  • Strong computer skills required, proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

 

Education & Experience:

  •  College degree, preferably in a business or real estate-related field

  •  2 years’ experience in a related role or field

Financial Analyst

Role Description:

 

The Financial Analyst will collaborate with team members and be responsible for the financial modeling for all real estate projects. They will create, manage, and update our financial model templates to assess cash flow and investment metrics. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Create financial models and Project Proforma packages to provide to Lenders and Investors.

  • Prepare monthly project reporting packages to provide lenders and investors.

  • Communicate with lenders and other outside stakeholders on financial model outputs as necessary.

  • Support Financial Controller with analysis of monthly financial statements

  • Collaborate with team members for related financial model inputs.  

  • Prepare financial model packages and analysis for financial review for the executive management team.  

 

Skills:

 

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling utilizing Excel.

  • Strong quantitative skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and work independently and within a team.

  • Strong communication skills to convey information effectively to internal team members and external stakeholders.

  • Detail orientated.

  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and accountable

 

Education & Experience:

​

  • College or advanced degree.

  • Experience in a related position, in either finance or real estate development, preferred.
